So my throw back thursday is to 3 years ago when I wanted to find a creative way to announce that I was pregnant with our first with friends and family. He was due in may so at 3 months in when we decide to announce it was fall and I wanted to do something fall themed. I came up with carving this pumpkin with "Coming Soon... 5.6.12" and I posted it on my facebook...it was subtle and fun—I loved it! I whipped up a tutorial with some pumpkin carving tips to help you DIY one of these. You could also paint the pumpkin or just scrape off the top layer of the skin to reveal the pith underneath.
