DIY Pumpkin Carved Pregnancy Announcement

Follow my blog with Bloglovin
So my throw back thursday is to 3 years ago when I wanted to find a creative way to announce that I was pregnant with our first with friends and family. He was due in may so at 3 months in when we decide to announce it was fall and I wanted to do something fall themed. I came up with carving this pumpkin with "Coming Soon... 5.6.12" and I posted it on my facebook...it was subtle and fun—I loved it! I whipped up a tutorial with some pumpkin carving tips to help you DIY one of these. You could also paint the pumpkin or just scrape off the top layer of the skin to reveal the pith underneath. I'd love to see what you are inspired to make from this post! Happy Fall!!!

Crochet Bunting

The past few months have been a whirlwind and I'm now living in a whole new state halfway across the country, 9 months pregnant and potty training my toddler. I should have lost my mind by now, but I've been making it through my faith and some crochet. I finally got back to my crochet and finished my first project in the new house—adorable crochet bunting! I based it on the granny triangle tutorial from carina's craft blog.

Momma & Me Yoga | The Good, the Bad and the Adorable

My Yoga obsession continues! My son is cruising now and I'm so excited to find more ways to engage my little bundle of energy. I took him to the pool yesterday and he loved it! I want to do yoga with him too. When he was really little, before he even crawled, I used Shiva Rea's awesome Momma and Baby Yoga DVD. Once he could crawl he pretty much went off and did his own thing and I did yoga solo. Recently he has come up and climbed on me while I was doing poses so I think it's time to get him involved again.

I found this sweet video on YouTube from YogaEarth and it was exactly what I hope to have with my son someday. :)
