I had a delicious time on my latest design project, working with Diana, of Diana's Sweet Bakery, on her logo and branding. Diana started baking as a hobby and now she runs a successful bakery out of her home in Maryland. Her specialties are cupcakes and cakepops. She gave me a lesson in cakepops, I thought you just used a mold or one of those cakepop-waffle-iron thingies to make a cakepop. OH NO, not Diana's cakepops, her cakepops are loveling formed into a ball from cut-up cake, frosting, and her perfected melted chocolate mixture. Diana's not stopping there though, she's branching out into what she calls "smash" cakes (small 6in cakes ideal for a first birthday cake smashing) topped in buttercream frosting or marshmallow fondant (YUM!) and some other offerings as well.
